Project Goal

Our goal was to create an attractive graphic style that embodies the spirit of what Articy:Draft is designed to achieve, as opposed to a graphic purely based on brand image.

Articy:Draft is software with a variety of applications, designed to assist writers with the organization of their narrative content in the field of Game Writing. This tool differs from traditional graphic design software where a defined purpose is clear, such as in animation, digital content creation or web design. Articy Draft is designed for the collection, management, and efficient use of a multitude of creative resources in one environment.

Creative concept

One that would maintain a positive and lighthearted impression. We wanted to downplay the negative nature of the problems faced by game writers and present a “one size fits all” solution in a funny and relatable way. To achieve this, the animation is very colourful and features friendly characters to guide the viewer through the features of the software. The main character moves between fictional and real-life situations set in the environment of a video game. The combination of different styles; flat design-inspired 3D, and 2D animation with 3D elements emphasizes the creative character of Articy Draft. The result was a variation of styles, characters, and allegories to leave the viewer with the perception of endless possibilities and benefits associated with the use of this software.

Result

Our video was very well received on our social media platforms, receiving widespread engagement from viewers and followers, of which 50% was organic. In the month of releasing this video, the client experienced a 20% increase in sales in comparison to the same month last year. This also led to positive feedback from their clients and stakeholders.
